Pause for Self Connection

❤️Compassion❤️Curiosity❤️Creativity ❤️Clarity❤️Courage❤️Calmness❤️Confidence❤️Connectedness❤️

In the work of Dick Schwartz in Internal Family Systems (IFS), these are known as the 8 C’s of Self Leadership

I use IFS in just about everything I do professionally and personally. It has been a real paradigm shifter in the psychotherapy world because it is non-pathologizing and offers profound healing for working with trauma as well as day to day challenges.

If you find your interest is piqued, please consider joining our weekly Pause for Self Connection where we will engage in gentle, trauma-informed meditative practices to get to know our own internal families and cultivate more Self leadership in our lives!

We meet beginning Monday, January 31, 2022 from 8pm to 9pm am and will run every Monday in February and March.

Your ZOOM link for Pause for Self Connection will arrive the Sunday before class via your email.

Kundalini Yoga Classes

Time to 💫 RESET 💫 REFRESH💫 RECHARGE💫

Find your way back to 💫BALANCE💫  back to 💫EQUANIMITY💫

I am in a Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Program through Yoga Farm Ithaca.

I am so inspired by the changes I have experienced since starting this program and I look forward to supporting you through your own Kundalini journey!

Kundalini Yoga is different from vinyasa yoga, or more typical yoga classes taught at studios. Kundalini focuses on the energetic part of the body with powerful breathing exercises as well as movement, mantra and meditation.

Please note important pieces of information related to these practices:

First, for those of you familiar with Kundalini Yoga and with Yogi Bhajan who taught Kundalini to the west, please know that I am not learning nor teaching his style (which was authoritarian and not in alignment with yogic principles). The Kundalini Yoga I am teaching is trauma informed and focused on being your OWN guru and listening to your higher self above anything else.

Second, prior to attending please review and sign the waiver included in the registration form. It is very important to listen to your own body and trust your body's intelligence always but especially when you engage in these Kriya Practices. There are modifications and adaptations we can make but it is so important to be informed. We will review safety at the start of the Zoom class.

Classes begin Monday, January 31, 2022 from 6 am to 7:30 am and will run every Monday in February and March.

Your ZOOM link for class will arrive the Sunday before class via your email.

Stress Reduction Clinics

We all know that stress is inevitable, but what creates resilience is our ability to recover from stress, to bring down our level of activation, to bring our nervous system back to a state of calm. Without practices and tools to bring our stress levels down, we find ourselves with short fuses, reactionary and it can even impact our physical health. Our hope is that attending our clinics will support you towards more resiliency. We hope to help you feel better!

Several healing modalities will be offered including an ear acupuncture protocol known as Acudetox and sometimes called the NADA protocol. You can learn more here: https://acudetox.com/. In addition, other tools that may be offered may include sound healing, breathing practices, and meditation. All offerings are invitational and no one is obligated to receive any of the tools. Some may just want to come sit in the circle with others and experience feeling safe and peaceful while in community with others. That in itself is very healing.

Please pre-register as space is limited at this time. If there is high enough demand we may consider offering more days and times.

Clinic Date and Time: Every Tuesday beginning February 1st from 9am to 10 am. (Please arrive on time and be prepared to stay about an hour). Individuals who would like to receive the NADA protocol, please be sure to read the information sheet and complete the consents found on the registration form.

This is a donation based offering and is open to the community.
